NADA’s GD held a working visit to Perak

IPOH, 4 July 2022 – Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon, Director General of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA), visited Perak today at the Ministry of Home Affairs Complex (MOHA), Ipoh.

The purpose of the working visit is to meet in person with state employees and officers while also making sure that the surroundings, activities, and the performance of duties are in good order.

The Director of NADA Perak, Mohd Azizi Salleh, provided the Director General with a briefing on the organization’s operations and
efforts to ensure the recovery from lifelong drug addiction, which can help to lower the prevalence of drug abuse and addiction.

Also, Tuan Sutekno delivered guidance, advice, and reminders to the team so that they may carry out their duties with honesty and 
integrity.

The Director General also emphasised the necessity of implementing the NADA i-Pulih Model, NADA i-Prihatin Model, and NADA i-Cegah Model holistically in order to ensure that the Dadah Terkawal 2025 target may be fulfilled.

Moreover, Tuan Sutekno had the chance to visit the NADA Perak facilities and had a conversation with the staffs at the same time.

Also present at the visit were NADA’s Director of Treatment, Medical and Rehabilitation Division, Siti Mariam Mursidan; Director of NADA Prevention Division, Zainudin Abdullah; Director of NADA Enforcement and Security Division, Azmi Mustafa and Chief Assistant Director (Community Rehabilitation), Dr. Nazira Sadiron.
