The AADK Integrity Unit was established on 13 January 2014, in line with the Service Circular No. 6 of 2013 (establishment of Integrity Unit in all public agencies). The establishment of the AADK’s Integrity Unit is a strategic collaboration that combines MACC officers with AADK’s officers in managing integrity in a more focused, organized, meeting the needs and suitability of the organisation.
To ensure the best governance is implemented ;
- INTEGRITY ENRICHMENT
To inculcate, institutionalize and implement the concept of integrity in organization;
- IDENTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION
To identify and verify complaints in regards to criminal misconduct and the violation of the code of conduct and ethics of the organisation and ensure appropriate actions are taken; and to report criminal misconduct to responsible enforcement agencies;
- COMPLAINTS MANAGEMENT
To receive and respond to all complaints / information concerning violation of criminal misconduct and organizational ethics.
To ensure the compliance of laws and regulations enforced, and;
- DISCIPLINARY ACTION
To function as the secretariat of the Disciplinary Board
