Introduction
The Integrity Unit of NADA was established on 13 January 2014, pursuant to the Services Circular Order Number 6 of 2013 (Establishment of Integrity Units at All Public Agencies). Its establishment is a strategic cooperative approach whereby officers of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission collaborate with officers of the agency in managing integrity in a more focused and planned manner which is appropriate and meets the needs of the agency
Functions
- GOVERNANCE
To ensure that the best governance is implemented; - CONSOLIDATION OF INTEGRITY
To ensure the adoption, institutionalisation and implementation of integrity in the organisation; - DETECTION AND VERIFICATION
To detect and verify complaints of criminal misconduct as well as violation of the organisation’s code of ethics and conduct, as well as ensure that the appropriate follow-up action is taken; report criminal offence to the enforcement agency responsible; - COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT
To receive and act on all complaints/information on criminal misconduct as well as violation of the organisation’s code of ethics and conduct; - COMPLIANCE
To ensure compliance with the laws and regulations in force; and - DISCIPLINE
To carry out the secretariat functions of the Disciplinary Board
