KEPALA BATAS, March 21, 2024 – The National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) of Kubang Pasu District and the Anti-Drug SKUAD of Kubang Pasu District, in collaboration with the Kampung Padang Pekan Community, have implemented the SKUAD with Youth Programme in Mukim Naga, on Thursday.

The programme aims to convey information about the importance of health and practising a healthy lifestyle, as well as mobilizing local youth to act against the threat of drugs in their respective areas.

The Head of Kubang Pasu District NADA, Norhiza Lah, in her speech, emphasised the importance of awareness and education in combating the phenomenon of drug abuse among young people.

She said that all parties need to work together to create a healthy environment and support the development of young people free from the negative influence of drugs.

“In addition to the briefing, other activities carried out include communal cooking and distribution of porridge. 

More than 400 packs of porridge were distributed to the residents of the area as a gesture of appreciation for the support from the local community.

“This activity was also attended by members of the Anti-Drug SKUAD and village community who were enthusiastic about spreading the message of drug awareness to the local residents,” she said here today.

Furthermore, she added, Kubang Pasu District NADA also intensified prevention efforts by disseminating messages and pamphlets about the dangers of drugs.

Also present at this program was the Chairman of the Kubang Pasu Anti-Drug SKUAD, Amar Yasier Razli.
