NADA appointed 62 new officers

SUNGAI PETANI, July 21, 2023 – A total of 62 individuals have been successfully appointed as officers of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) Grade S41 and S29 the new appointees who will carry out their duties in the designated locations at NADA offices and Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Centers (PUSPEN) throughout the country starting this Monday.

Out of the 62 individuals, 24 existing NADA officers from the current positions of Assistant Anti-Drugs Officer Grade S19 and Assistant Anti-Drugs Officer Grade S29 were successfully appointed as Assistant Anti-Drugs Officer Grade S29 (21 individual) and Anti-Drugs Officer Grade S41 (3 individual).

The matter was announced during the End of Training and Appreciation Ceremony in conjunction with the Basic Placement Course for Anti-Drugs Officers S41 and Assistant Anti-Drugs Officers Grade S29 that were newly appointed in 2023.

Earlier the Director General of NADA, Mr. Sutekno Ahmad Belon officiated the ceremony while delivering a mandate and advice for all newly appointed officers to remain disciplined and comply with the civil servant regulations set, especially attendance at the office.

In addition, he said, being present in the office during the working hours as instructed by the supervisor in charge is an important factor to ensure that all officers carry out their assigned duties and responsibilities.

“The appointed personnel need to emphasize the aspect of self-discipline, especially attendance at the office as set by their respective supervisors.

“Moreover, being present at the workplace is to ensure the agency services to the community is properly delivered thus be carried out effectively and maximize efficiency,” he said while inaugurating the ceremony on Friday.

Also present were the Deputy Director General (Management), Mrs. Chan Hong Jin; NADA Training Center Director, Dr Rafidi Jusoh and NADA Chief Assistant Director (Human Resource Development), Noor Atikah Mokhtar.

Representing the entire top management of NADA, congratulations and praises was expressed to all the newly appointed officers. All the best upholding the sacred duty.
