KAJANG, March 6, 2023 – The National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) is actively increasing the utilization of data in planning and decision-making within the agency through the early detection of suspected drug abusers (OYDS) in each district more effectively.

The method was highly approved after NADA succeeded in developing a data sphere product namely the Malaysia Drug Profiling System (MyDPS) to empower the work force movement especially in the aspect of OYDS detection in a targeted and efficient manner.

Moreover, to ensure the effort can be developed, a number of NADA officials were involved in attending several data sphere product strengthening workshop sessions held at the Theaterette, NADA Headquarters, on Monday.

The data sphere product was made possible in collaboration with the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) through the Public Sector Big Data Analytics (DRSA) initiative.

Earlier the workshop was officiated by the Deputy Director General (Management) of NADA, Mrs. Chan Hong Jin.

The matter is to ensure that the direction of NADA 2023 regarding the development of a profiling system that includes data on drug addicts and the number of drug addicts in Malaysia can be successfully achieved.
