NIBONG TEBAL, February 12, 2024 – In the efforts to achieve the 100 Million Trees Campaign, South Seberang Perai (SPS) Anti-Drugs Skuad is committed to implementing the tree planting campaign by establishing an Agro Site around the area of National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) office in the SPS District, Penang.
According to the Deputy Chairman of the SPS Anti-Drugs SKUAD, ROkiman Shah, this effort is carried out by SPS Anti-Drugs Skuad in collaboration with the SPS District Agriculture Department to create a healthy activity during leisure times through gardening.
“To this day, the campaign has successfully created a project initiated by the SPS Anti-Drugs Skuad through the Calamansi Planting Project in Kampung Sungai Kechil.
“We have also organised visits by outside parties, smart partners, and strategic partners, as well as gotong-royong activity involving NADA’s clients in the district, he said here, on Friday.
Earlier, the Agro Site was inaugurated by South Seberang Perai District Officer, Khairulnizam Hashim, and attended by Penang State NADA’s Director, Elmariah Chung, Head of SPS District NADA, Ku Muhaizat Ku Malim and the Chairman of SPS Anti-Drugs SKUAD, Nurhidayah Che Rose.
