WANGSA MAJU, 25 June 2022 – In response to the spirit of the Keluarga Malaysia in prospering the elements of the Keluarga Malaysia, the Self Defense Awareness (SEDAR) Jihad Dadah Program was held by Persekutuan Seni Silat Cekak Pusaka Ustaz Hanafi (Pusaka Hanafi).
The initiative aims to improve security synergies by taking a proactive and integrated approach to preventing community crime, including drug problems.
According to Dato’ Seri Dr. Shahidan Kassim, Minister of Federal Territories, drug abuse is not only self-destructive, but the symptoms also lead to other crimes.
“The Ministry is pleased that Kuala Lumpur is the first location for the SEDAR Jihad Dadah Program to instil the spirit among Malaysian families to hate drug abuse.”
“As a result, I urge all parties, particularly schools, institutions of higher learning, government agencies, and the community, to support the SEDAR Program’s efforts for mutual well-being,” he said.
He made the remarks at the Opening Ceremony of the SEDAR Jihad Dadah Program in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
Dr. Md. Radzi Hanafi; President of Pusaka Hanafi, YM Honorary Colonel (PA); Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, Director of the Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN); Tuan Mesran Mohd Yusop, Director General of the National Culture and Arts Department; and Puan Chan Hong Jin, Deputy Director General (Management) of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) were present in the program.
Pusaka Hanafi organises the SEDAR Jihad Dadah programme in collaboration with strategic partners the Royal Malaysia Police and NADA.
