KAJANG, 9 January 2023 – The National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA) succeeded in achieving both key performance indicators (KPI) for 2022, namely the rate of drug abuse plus addiction per 100 thousand residents and the client recovery rate percentage.
NADA Director General, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon said, the target for the rate of drug abuse and addiction in Malaysia in 2023 is 440 cases for every 100 thousand population.
“The rate is 395 cases till September 2022, and 377 cases will remain below the 400 level margin in 2021 as targeted goal in the Drugs Controlled 2025.
