NADA senior officers reach the peak of Bukit Terisek

JERANTUT, 29 Jun 2022 – Over 60 senior officers, including the Director General of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA), succeeded in climbing to the top of Bukit Terisek in Taman Negara Kuala Tahan, Jerantut, Pahang.

These healthy practises are covered in the Human Development Course and Strengthening the NADA Senior Officer Team modules.

In addition to responding to requests for government services, it seeks to ensure that NADA officers have healthy, active lifestyles (ANMS).

The hike starts at nine in the morning with a thorough introduction of the protected plants that exist in the National Park. All participants succeeded in reaching the summit after spending about three hours ascending the 344-meter hill.

The participants also overcame a number of difficulties and obstacles, including sloping terrain, stairways, and a suspension bridge spanning the longest tree in the world, which is 550 metres in length and rises 40 metres above the ground.

The programme also educated the participants on the importance of protecting the environment, the flora, and the animals that are in danger of extinction.

Create a culture of cooperation and teamwork.
The Human Development Course and Strengthening the Senior Officer Team, which held in Kuala Tahan, Jerantut, Pahang for three days, aims to further foster a sense of belonging that will enable team members to carry out their duties and foster cooperation.

Many activities were organised includes Night Jungle Walk, Canopy Walk, climbing hills in Kuala Tahan National Park and visiting the Batik and Semok Beri indigenous villages.

NADA Director General, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon, NADA Deputy Director General (Management), Puan Chan Hong Jin and Deputy Director General (Operations), Dato ’Dr Muhamad Sade Mohamad Amin as well as other senior officers were involved in the programme to make it a success.
