NADA remains committed in making PLAK as Country’s Anti-drugs Reference Centre

SUNGAI PETANI, November 25th 2021 – National Anti-drugs Agency (NADA) stays proactive in making National Anti-drugs Agency’s Training Centre (PLAK) as Country’s Anti-drugs Reference Centre.

This is because PLAK is seen to carry potential and ability to become a training centre that produce officers with highly competitive skills.

It is also hoped by NADA’s General Director, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon who aims PLAK to be equipped with variety of trainings and skills regarding anti-drugs besides achieving certain recognitions.

He says so after listening to a briefing by PLAK’s Director, Dr. Mohd Rafidi Jusoh about this training centre’s direction towards providing the best training services, and establishing it as Country’s Anti-drugs Reference Centre at once.

“I hope PLAK can become a Training Centre that produce NADA’s officers who are highly-skilled, with full of discipline and integrity in carrying their responsibility” he mentions.
Sutekno highlights this after he chairs PLAK’s Overview and Direction Meeting in PLAK, Sungai Petani, Kedah recently.

Besides the meeting, NADA’s General Director also chair Top Management Meeting (MPU) in conjunction with visiting program for dialogue session with NADA families at this responsible centre (PTj).

This includes the giving of mandate and advice to all agency’s staffs in effort of achieving Controlled Drugs 2025.

At the same time, he also spends time in observing facilities and joining Go Green activity by plating lemon trees in PLAK’s Citrus Space.

Also present during the visit are NADA’s Deputy General Director (Management), Puan Chan Hong Jin, NADA’s Deputy General Director (Operation), Dato’ Dr. Muhamad Sade Mohd Amin and departments’ directors as well as NADA’s heads of unit.
