NADA appointed officers instill three basic criteria

SUNGAI PETANI, 20 Jan 2023 – A total number of 38 new officers in the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) successfully completed their training for the new position and appointment as Assistant Anti-Drug Officer Grade S29 held since 2 Jan 2023.

The training purpose is to ensure that all newly appointed anti-drug officers master the three basic criteria that will motivate and give them strength while executing NADA services.

The three elements that must be uphold by the officers are the intellect capability, spiritual Z-realm and fitness endurance it must be present while performing their daily duties at their respective checkpoint stations.  

NADA Director General, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon said, new NADA officers should always be prepared to face various challenges when faced with difficult situations.

“The three main modules brought by NADA such as the AADK i-Prevention Module, the AADK i-Prihatin Module and the AADK i-Recovery Module need to be clearly understood and practiced when carrying out official duties,” he said.

He said when officiating the Appreciation Ceremony and Completion of the Basic Training Course for Asas Penempatan Penolong Pegawai Antidadah S29 at Dewan Permata, NADATraining Center, Sungai Petani, Kedah on Friday.

Furthermore, Tuan Sutekno emphasized the aspect of discipline that civil servants need to have, especially when providing services to the community.

He said, NADA officers should uphold work integrity and never be careless during daily duties.

Moreover, he also presented prizes to the best male contestant, Muhammad Syahmi Ihsan Ahmad Shukri, and the best female contestant, Che Hamidah Che Zahari.

Also present were the Deputy Director General (Management) of AADK, Mrs. Chan Hong Jin; Director of AADK Management Services, Ahmad Musadad Sulaiman; AADK Training Center Director, Dr. Mohd Rafidi Jusoh and Chief Assistant Director (Human Resources) of AADK, Mrs. Noor Atikah Mokhtar.
