More than 1,500 visitors joined DG NADA Pocket Talk

KOTA BHARU – Oct 28TH, 2022 – The Pocket Talk session by The Director General of the National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA), Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon was met with full of excitement during The Town Hall Eastern Zone Program Kita Demi Negara, the surrounding area erupted with the chant of ‘Lebih Baik Cegah’ here on Friday.

The Pocket Talk session is one of the main elements of the Kita Demi Negara Program to get closer to the community as well as to provide direct information to the people about the agency services under the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN).

The information session regarding the services offered by NADA was aimed on further explaining that NADA’s role is not only focused on the arrest of those involved in drug addiction, but also provides recovery services, education in prevention and law enforcement.

Tuan Sutekno, emphasized that the effects of addiction are not only harmful to addicts, but also cause suffering among family members, relatives and the community.

“So, let’s all join hands, plant the determination to fight drug filth together.

“Next, let’s get rid of the negative stigma against those who choose the wrong path. Continue to be a supporter so that they remain in recovery. They can change and be better,”he said.
