If there’s a way, we have to change – DG Nada

ALOR SETAR, July 7, 2023 – The Director General of the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA), Mr. Sutekno Ahmad Belon said, issue involving non-attendance or failure to be at the premises during working hours, should be changed immediately to ensure the effectiveness of the agency’s services to the community.

That is the advice and admonition from the Director General of NADA to all the employees to discipline themselves in carrying out the duties and responsibilities entrusted to them.

“I believe that NADA employees are committed to their respective duties, but if there are a few bad apple who behave inappropriately, they must reflect on themselves and change immediately.

“We try to prevent those with disciplinary problems cause by the small minority to affect the good name of the agency,” he advised during the DG NADA Work Visit at Padang Terap and Kota Setar NADA Offices, on Sunday.

Moreover, Mr. Sutekno said, the old or unprofitable work culture needs to be change immediately to ensure that the services offered by NADA are effective and efficient to the community in need.

Earlier, he also attended the Drug Abuse Prevention Coordination Meeting with His Highness the King of Kedah, DYTM Tengku Sarafudin Badlishah ibni Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin and His Highness the Queen of Kedah, Che Puan Muda Zaheeda Binti Mohamad Ariff.

Also present were the Director of the Prevention Division, Zainudin Abdullah and the Director of Kedah State NADA, Abdul Hamediee Ibrahim.
