Anti-drugs campaign cherishes KLCFM

KUALA LUMPUR, 19 June 2022 – The National Anti-Drugs Day (HADK) 2022 Commemoration in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya (WPKL) enthused the Kuala Lumpur Car Free Morning (KLCFM) on Sunday, which was jointly organised by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA).

Apart from responding to the government’s call in the Healthy Malaysia National Agenda (ANMS), the activity is part of NADA’s anti-drugs campaign efforts to encourage the community to adopt a drug-free lifestyle.

The event, which began at 7 a.m., was attended by approximately 2,000 city residents, including NADA staffs and the NADA Anti-Drugs Squad.

Various activities have been held such as NADA services exhibition, cycling, running, horse -drawn carriages and lucky draws.

The Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Datuk Seri Mahadi Che Ngah, the Director General of NADA, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon, and the Chairman of the Kuala Lumpur Vehicle-Free Morning Implementation Committee, Datuk Dr. Naim Mohamad, officiated at the launch of these leisure activities.

The program was also joined by NADA Deputy Director General (Operations), Dato’ Dr Muhamad Sade Mohamad Amin; Director of NADA Prevention Division, Zainuddin Abdullah; Director of NADA Integrity Unit, Zulfikri Abd Manaf and Director of NADA Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Md Razif Wan.
