SUNGAI PETANI – Nov 24, 2022 – 309 officers successfully completed the triple Level 1 training Certification program conducted by the National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA) throughout the year 2021.
The three certifications are Sijil Amalan Pendidikan Pencegahan (CPE), Sijil Amalan Rawatan dan Pemulihan (CPP) and Sijil Amalan Penguatkuasaan (CEP).
NADA Director General, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon said, in order to achieve the level 1 certification criteria standard, officers need to go through four training modules each for CPE and CPP while three modules for CEP.
He said, the certification program offered by PLAK NADA is comprehensive and focus on quality in three core areas of NADA starting from the Basic (Level 1), Intermediate (Level 2), Advanced (Level 3) and Expertise (Level 4) in total 12 certification programs.
“Based on the motto โPemangkin Tradisi Kepakaranโ dan tema โDi Sini Lahirnya Pegawai Agensi Bertauliahโ, the NADA Training Center which has been established and stood for 18 years with the goal to operate as a training institution that carry out agency responsibilities and it has successfully produced officers who have achieve the three main core certification areas of the agency.
“The initial objective of its establishment still remain even after the success of the NADA Training Center to produce more NADA officers and professionals capable of leading within the community and developing the country.
“This historical feat, has push forward the NADA Training Center to continue moving proactively and aggressively towards excellence and quality center environment to produce agency officers who are knowledgeable and competent in Treatment and Rehabilitation services, Prevention Education and Anti-Drug Enforcement,” he said.
Earlier, when he officiated the NADA Certification Commissioning 2022 Ceremony at the NADA training center, here today.
He added, the achievement by NADA officers in the program is an important benchmark for NADA to convince clients, families and communities about the quality of services that NADA has to offer within the institutions and communities.
Furthermore, it has become NADA’s responsibility to convince them to accept the services that NADA provides and given either through in-situ, face-to-face or online channels.
“Our challenges to face the problem of drug abuse and addiction will become more complex.
“Through the Certification Program, NADA will always strives to provide the best, latest and evidence-based knowledge and skills for NADA officers in executing and delivering the best service to our clients, families and communities,” he said.
Also present were the Deputy Director General (Management), Puan Chan Hong Jin, the Deputy Director General (Operations) of AADK, Dato’ Dr Muhamad Sade Mohamad Amin and the Chairman of the Advisory Board of the AADK Training Center, Dr. Sabri Zainudin @ Zainol.
