The first step is to know that you can be referred to a 1Malaysia Cure & Care Clinic voluntarily, without any legal repercussions and most importantly, in to tal privacy.
The 1Malaysia Cure & Care Clinic provides treatment packages for those who are affected by drug abuse and addiction. A preliminary screening will be done by Rehabilitation Officers using the Alcohol Smoking and Substance Abuse Involvement Screening Test (ASSIST) that was developed by the World Health Organization (WHO). This is to determine the extent of addiction suffered by your friend or acquaintance. After it is determined, your friend will be placed in the relevant drug treatment package according to needs of the patient. The 1Malaysia Cure & Care Clinic also uses the right measure such as the University of Rhode Island Change Assesment (URICA) to assess the change in motivation and behaviour of patients after they have undergone treatment and rehabilitation.
Now you no longer have to worry. You or your friend can already undergo treatment and rehabilitation at our facility.
