Retirement council national anti-drug agency 2022. “Setitis Tinta, Selaut Budi”

KAJANG, September 29, 2022 – Deputy Home Minister II, Datuk Jonathan Yasin, gave a wonderful heart-warming speech while officiating the National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA) Retirement Council 2022 theme “Setitis Tinta, Selaut Budi” at Sri Akasia Hall, NADA headquaters.

The ceremony is a symbolic sign of appreciation, recognition and gift from NADA and the Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN) for the service and devotion the retirery employees have provided during their service for NADA and Federal Government.

Datuk Jonathan Yasin said the retirement of employees will be a loss to the workforce of NADA you who are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, experienced, authoritative and dedicated. For sure, your legacy will be admired and remembered forever.

“Your contribution and support is what ensures NADA stand strong in delivering services to Keluarga Malaysia. From the effort to combat drug issue to helping social deviant recover from drug addiction, task carried out full of dedication and responsibility and individuals with integrity leaving deep impression. The persistence has effected the efficiency and effectiveness of NADA services. As such, the credibility act as a good role model for current and future NADA staff.

“Although it is difficult to part ways, it actually teaches us the meaning of sincerity and maturity in life. We will reminisce the times spent together and it will never be forgotten.”

Post-retirement may be different for each individual, it does not mean that the contribution to religion, race and country will end. Datuk Jonathan Yasin is confident that all the skills, expertise and experience that have been gained during public service can be used as capital in other platform.

Furthermore, he recommend to join Sahabat KDN and the Anti-Drug Squad to help improve the perception of Keluarga Malaysia towards KDN and NADA through the information dissemination to the general public. As well as, stay active by doing activities to maintain your mental and physical health.

Lastly, General of NADA, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon wish all the retiree a happy retirement and the best for the future, he wished those who are leaving us today will continue to actively contribute ideas and expertise in the effort to achieve Dadah Terkawal 2025. May the memories of NADA remain in your heart and I pray that all your affairs will be made easier and be given long lasting good health.

Also present were Deputy Secretary General (Security) Dato’ Hj Abdul Halim bin Hj Abdul Rahman, Deputy Director General (Management) of NADA Lady Chan Hong Jin and Senior Officials of the Ministry of Home Affair plus NADA.
