Petaling District NADA highlights the holistic strategy of providing RPDK services

PETALING JAYA, 4 July 2022 – NADA Deputy Director General (Operations), YBhg. Dato’ Dr. Muhamad Sade Mohamad Amin conducted an operational inspection at the Petaling District NADA office here recently.

During the inspection, Petaling District NADA Chief Mazlinna Kassim gave him a briefing on the work, which was divided into three primary categories: treatment, medical, and rehabilitation; prevention and enforcement; and safety.

In addition, Petaling District NADA is in the forefront of a comprehensive approach to serving the community by offering Community Treatment and Rehabilitation (RPDK) programmes.

Furthermore, Dato’ Dr. Muhamad Sade also spent time looking at the operation, office facilities and socializing with the NADA staff of the district.

At the same time, he had the opportunity to convey messages, advice and reprimands to staff to always perform their responsibilities with trust and integrity in order to achieve the goals of Dadah Terkawal 2025.

Selangor State NADA Director, Nazir Mohammad and Head of the Secretariat Unit for Coordination of the Implementation of the National NADA Drug Symptoms Policy, Mohd. Nadmin Ramlan were also present in the session.

In summary, Petaling with an area of 484.32 sq km is the largest district in Selangor with a population of 2.2 million people. It has eight Parliaments, 16 State Legislative Assemblies and six Mukims.
