SEREMBAN, 12 June 2022 – The Negeri Sembilan National Anti-Drugs Day (HADK) Commemoration Celebration began last Thursday at the Paroi Youth and Sports Complex and continues to this day to enliven the HADK celebration with the local community.

YAB Dato’ Seri Aminuddin Harun, Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan, suggested that all government leaders and community leaders to be kind to those who have been stuck with addiction and not giving a negative stigma on Clients in the Community.

This, he claims, provides space and opportunity for those who have been huddled together in the community and strive to follow the Treatment and Rehabilitation Program in the Community (RPDK) as a family.

During the programme, he also presented letters of gratitude to leaders and individuals who have contributed to the anti-drugs programme.

Furthermore, a fitness dance competition, a children’s category colouring competition, an anti-drugs quiz, a national quiz from the Malaysian Department of Information (Japen), and the message pocket National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA) ‘Lebih Baik Cegah’ were provided to all attendees.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Paroi Youth and Sports Development Action Committee, YB Dato ‘Taufek Abd. Ghani, was present to show his support by socialising with clients in the community as well as the local community in response to the slogan ‘Kami Prihatin Pemimpin Komuniti.’

He advised all clients to always take the best steps and improve themselves in order to live a more secure life free of drugs.

Simultaneously, he urged the local community to continue assisting NADA in its efforts to eradicate drug abuse, particularly among the state’s youth.

Previously, he visited each exhibition booth set up by various government agencies and departments, private companies, motoring exhibitions, squad registration counters, complaints counters, advocacy and sales booths.

HADK celebration at the Negeri Sembilan level was also participated by the Department of Islamic Religious Development Malaysia (JAKIM) by organizing a self-motivation talk entitled ‘Sayangi Diri, Jom Cegah’ brought specially by the guest speaker, Ustaz Md. Shukri Abdullah.
