BUKIT MERTAJAM, 19 April – YBrs Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon, Ketua Pengarah Agensi Antidadah Kebangsaan (AADK) attended the Ihya Ramadan ceremony in Pusat Pemulihan Penagihan Narkotik (PUSPEN) Bukit Mertajam, on Monday.

It was the conjunction with General Director’s work visit to Pulau Pinang for two days, starting today.

In the ceremony, Tuan Sutekno joined for iftar, performed Maghrib, Isya’ and Tarawih prayers together with NADA’s staffs and clients from this rehabilitation center.

Director of NADA Pulau Pinang, Puan Elmariah Chung and Director of PUSPEN Bukit Mertajam, En Aman bin Mustafa were also present during this Ihya Ramadan ceremony.

During the ceremony, one of the clients from PUSPEN Bukit Mertajam recited the verses from the holy Quran and also held a qasidah performance before iftar

In the meantime, this work visit from Tuan Sutekno was his first time to this Pearl Island after being appointed as General Director on last 11th of January 2021.

Previously, he was also present in Ramah Mesra program with NADA’s staffs from state branches and later on visited four district offices which were NADA Timur Laut’s district; NADA Seberang Perai Utara’s district; NADA Seberang Perai Selatan’s district as well as NADA Seberang Perai Tengah’s district.

While he was in the office of NADA Seberang Perai Selatan’s district, the General Director had allocated some time for site viewing for the purpose of building new offices in mentioned district.

It was informed that the new site will involve the construction of office area, Pusat Tahanan Reman and also Pusat Khidmat AADK Negeri Pulau Pinang.
