NADA’S Director General attends clients in the community

LANGKAWI, 11 June 2022 – Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon, the Director General of the National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA), visited clients in the Langkawi Island, Kedah on Saturday.

The purpose of DG NADA’s home visits is to assess the condition of NADA clients and to ensure that they continue to heal while living in the community.

The activity, which was carried out in three residences throughout the area, is part of the AADK i-Pulih module for the Community Treatment and Rehabilitation (RPDK) program’s social integration component.

Apart from that, the NADA DG used the opportunity to meet with previous NADA clients who have successfully recovered following treatment sessions over the last few years and are now able to start their own carwash business.

The session was also one of NADA’s support activities for strengthening recovery or aftercare, with the goal of encouraging individuals to stay in recovery for the rest of their lives.

As a sign of solidarity, the NADA DG urged that all NADA employees in the district demonstrate their support for the former client’s services.

Director of NADA Division Treatment, Medical and Rehabilitation, Siti Mariam Mursidan; NADA Chief Assistant Director (Community Rehabilitation), Dr. Nazira Sadiron and Kedah NADA Director, Abdul Hamediee Ibrahim were present in the home visit.
