NADA targets 20 percent in spike increase on MRT AADK

KAJANG, 9 January 2023- The National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA) targets a 20 percent Mobile Recovery Treatment (MRT AADK) mobile service reach to whom within the community clients that categorize as non-official NADA clients as well as clients from other agencies such as the Jabatan Penjara Malaysia for this year.

NADA Director General Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon said the target was set after NADA managed to expand the service to 3,444 people beyond the initial target in 2022.

โ€œIn June 2022, an estimation of 9 percent or 1,427 people are targeted to receive access to the service nationwide.

“As we highlight services to existing clients, namely Clients in the Community and Clients in Institutions, the focus on helping those who find it difficult to get treatment services at NADA facilities will be our main priority in 2022.

“The matter is solve indefinitely by establishing a mobile service which is Mobile Recovery Treatment (MRT AADK) which was launched in May 2022 when delivering the New Year’s Message in conjunction with the Monthly (January) Assembly here, on Monday,” he said.

Moreover, Tuan Sutekno said, the allocation operating expenditure for 2022 reached 99 percent compared to 97.82 percent in the previous year.

“The highest expenditure performance of the Pusat Tanggungjawab (PTj) was 100 percent while the lowest performance was recorded at 95 percent.

“Routine cycle and one-off procurement must be completed before the first quarter of 2023 and all programs or activities must be implemented in accordance with the provisions under the Perancangan Perolehan Tahunan (PPT) approved by the MOHA guard officers,” he said.

Also present were Deputy Director General (Management), Mrs Chan Hong Jin and Deputy Director General (Operations), Dato’ Dr Muhamad Sade Mohamad Amin.
