NADA explores the cocoa industry

KAJANG, Feb 16, 2023 – The Director General of the National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA), Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon was met by a courtesy visit from the Malaysian Cocoa Board (LKM) at NADA headquarters, here on Thursday.

The first ever meeting held to help build collaboration between NADA and LKM as well as explore new knowledge from both parties.

In addition, the meeting that lasted for two hours opened up new opportunity for NADA to explore the field of cocoa cultivation that can be implement for NADA clients through the Treatment and Rehabilitation Program in Institutions (RPDI) and the Treatment and Rehabilitation Program in the Community (RPDK) through Skills and Vocational Training modules.

The initiative implemented by NADA at the Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Center (PUSPEN) and appropriate NADA district offices.

Earlier, a briefing on LKM was delivered by Central Manager of LKM Jengka, Dr.Rozita Osman.

In the session, the LKM delegation led by its Director General, Dr.Ramle Kasin and three of its officers expressed their willingness to help NADA realize the long-term project.
