NADA client road to recovery

SANDAKAN, October 3rd 2022 – National Anti-Drug Agency Clients mainly two individuals who followed the Community Treatment and Rehabilitation (RPDK) program remain in recovery for more than two years at the Sandakan NADA district.

The confinement is acknowledged by both parties with the support of NADA which provides treatment and rehabilitation through NADA i-Pulih Model program.

Furthermore, the model provide skills and training modules as benefit towards NADA clients and they will be offered to work at the Turtle Island Park on Selingaan Island, Sandakan, Sabah.

Director General of NADA, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon took the opportunity to instilled word of encouragement and gave advise to the clients to remain until recover as well as to help NADA by encouraging well known associate with drug problem for treatment and rehabilitation at any NADA headquaters.

In addition, Tuan Sutekno concluded the Jom Hijau ceremony through the ‘Turtle Nest Adoption’ program and released the baby turtles which was organized by the Sandakan NADA district in collaboration with the Sandakan Marine Police Force.

Also present were Sabah state NADA Director, Nani Sikin and Sandakan NADA District Head, Aisyah Abd Karim.
