Putrajaya, February 23^rd – Mesyuarat Jawatan Kuasa Bertindak Pendidikan Pencegahan dan Publisiti Bilangan 1 Tahun 2021 was held in Meeting Room YBM Communication and Multimedia, Ministry of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia which was chaired by Yang Berhormat Dato’ Saifuddin bin Abdullah, Minister of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia.

Beforehand, YBrs. Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon, the Director of National Anti-drugs Agency (NADA) together with YBhg. Dato’ Sri Haji Mohammad bin Mentek, the Head Secretary if Ministry of Communications and Multimedia as well Datuk Musa bin Sulaiman, Secretary of Prison, Anti-drugs and The People’s Volunteer Corps Department, Ministry of Home Affairs met YB Minister of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia to explain further about the meeting. Several criteria that were highlighted was the role of media, both printed and electronic. These two components were seen as important and it was needed for the two to be combined together in order to boost the efficiency of campaigns that circled around drug’s prevention especially in monitoring these activities among under aged groups.

This meeting was conducted virtually and it was also attended by YB Datuk Halimah binti Mohamed Sadique, Minister of National Unity; as well as Minister Deputies from different ministries.
