JERAYAWARA: SPREAD THE MESSAGE, ANTI-DRUG CAMPAIGN – DG

RAUB, June 11, 2023 – The National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) continues their mission in touring the Kawasan Berisiko Tinggi (KBT) locations through the Roadshow Program in conjunction with the commemoration of Anti-Drugs Day 2023.

This year Jerayawara took place near the Moh Kecoh Pahang State and was held in Kampung Pamah Rawas, Ulu Dong, Raub for two days starting on Saturday.

The event itself held various activities such as prevention campaigns, service exhibitions and drug addiction advisory services, Mobile Recovery Treatment (MRT AADK) counters, Anti-Drugs Squad registration counters and community related sports.

According to the Director General of NADA, Sutekno Ahmad Belon, the program aims to spread the message and anti-drugs campaign to all communities, especially families and neighborhoods.

“The Jerayawara 2023 program is a series of tours in selected locations from 14 states. Mukim Dong was selected as the seventh destination for this year.

“This program is one of NADA’s strategies in 2023 to expand the prevention program that NADA runs based on AADK’s i-Prevention Model through the ‘Prevention Starts at Home’ approach,” he said when speaking during the opening ceremony here, on Sunday.

Earlier the EXCO of Communications and Multimedia, Youth, Sports and Non-Government Bodies of Pahang State, YB Fadzli Mohamad Kamal was present to inaugurate the program.

Also present were NADA Prevention Division Director, Zainudin Abdullah and Director of NADA Pahang State, Zirwatul Ahlam Zamzam.
