KAJANG, 5 September 2022 – The National Anti-Drug Agency (NADA) entire workforce platoon should and must have a sense of patriotism within themselves as a sign of love towards the country.

NADA Director General, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon said, an initiative needs to be taken among employers to ensure that the spirit of patriotism can be instill into the workforce in term of duty or responsibility. “For example, if we are not punctual, undisciplined or procrastinate on our duties, that shows our non-existence patriotic nature towards the employer.

“An individual who instill patriotism in their heart is the one who gives the fullest attention especially in implementing their duties towards the Government and community,” he said here on Monday when speaking at the NADA Monthly Assembly.

Also present were Deputy Director General (Management), Mrs. Chan Hong Jin and Deputy Director General (Operations), Dato’ Dr. Muhamad Sade Mohamad Amin.

In addition, Tuan Sutekno said, NADA members need to display the same patriotic spirit whether it be in the field working or during public appearance.

“I believe many NADA members are involved in external office task such as holding anti-drug campaigns, public awareness talks, advocacy programs and so on.

“Through those activities, patriotism needs to be shown to the community, especially involving elements of prevention and a drug-free country,” he said.
