Exhibition and Sales of NADA Products promotes goods made by clients

Kajang, November 1st, 2021 – In effort to promote variety of products made by clients of Clients of Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Centres (PUSPEN), National Anti-drugs Agency (NADA) organizes Exhibition and Sales of NADA Products on previous October 26th.

This program which was handled by Career Training and Vocational Branch, Department of Treatment, Medication and Rehabilitation NADA has taken place approximately for four hours around the Headquarters of NADA, here.

The exhibition starts at 10 in the morning and it involves six PUSPEN which are PUSPEN Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur; PUSPEN Jelebu dan PUSPEN Tampin, Negeri Sembilan; PUSPEN Muar (Johor); PUSPEN Dengkil and PUSPEN Serendah, Selangor.

According to Assistant of Anti-drugs Officer, Career Training and Vocational Branch, Department of Treatment, Medication and Rehabilitation NADA, Mohd Norazarizan Shah Azman says that variation of products sold during the exhibition are the output from clients’ efforts through vocational activities in PUSPEN.

“Vocational programs are the best platforms to enhance skill and creativity of clients in producing products based on food, handcrafts, stitching or agriculture.

“Indirectly, this method (vocational program) becomes a therapy for clients throughout the process of treatment and rehabilitation in PUSPEN,” he says while interviewed by AADK News’ crew at Exhibition and Sales of NADA Products in here.

Mohd Norazarizan Shah adds, the organization of Exhibition and Sales of NADA Products also functions to help in promoting product market outside of PUSPEN.

“For now, PUSPEN’s products are only sold for NADA staffs in headquarters every month.

“Nevertheless, in next phase, we plan to widen this exhibition for the community out there especially in other government departments and agencies.

“This is like PUSPEN Jelebu which recently received an offer to sell the products by their clients in sales program at National Registration Department, Putrajaya,” he mentions.

Regarding that, besides mini aquarium and women accessories, Exhibition and Sales of NADA Products also offers oyster mushroom, hot chilli peppers, catfish, tilapia fish, patin fish and several decoration plants with reasonable price.
