PERAK, 20 August 2022 – Government agencies are urged to always be proactive and collaborate with the National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) to combat the drug problem in this nation.
Aminuddin Zulkipli, a member of the Behrang State Assembly, made the suggestion as one of his main points during the Ziarah Kasih Santuni Klien Program at the Penghulu Mukim Slim Office in Perak.
NADA, the Behrang Assemblyman’s Office, and the Malaysian Drug Prevention Association (PEMADAM) are all involved in organising the event in the Muallim District.

NADA Director General, Tuan Sutekno Ahmad Belon spoke about the organization’s services, including the NADA i-Pulih Model, which aids clients mentally, physically, spiritually, and intellectually, in a session that was also attended by the Batang Padang District Drug Rehabilitation Committee and local community leaders.
He also explained that the client group really needs continuous support from family and society so that they can remain in recovery throughout their lives.

The event continued by visiting five client homes and distributing food pack donations in Kampung Jurong, Kampung Pasir Ulu Slim, and Kampung Rasau here, in addition to the installation of the ‘Lebih Baik Cegah’ sign at Arena Amanjaya, Slim River.
The Director of NADA’s Prevention Division, Zainudin Abdullah; Perak State NADA Director Azizi Salleh; and Batang Padang District PEMADAM Chairman, Dr. Mohd Muzafar Shah Mohd Razali were also present to ensure the activity’s success.
