Clients in the community are nurtured through the Jom Hijau Program

RAUB, 14 July 2022 – The National Anti-Drugs Agency (NADA) of Raub District, Pahang recently held the Walkabout and Jom Hijau programme with clients in the community at Taman Bandar Raub, Pahang.

The goal of the cooperation programme with Askar Wataniah Kem Puncak Mas, Raub is to give NADA clients the chance to volunteer in the community and expose them to the importance of preserving the environment through tree-planting activities.

Earlier, Dato’ Dr Muhamad Sade visited the NADA facilities in Raub District, Pahang, and engaged in a warm conversation.

Ummi Nazira Shahidan, the Head of Raub District NADA, gave him a briefing on the operation and work.

In addition, Dato’ Dr. Muhamad Sade gave staff members advice on how to carry out their duties with honesty and integrity. He urged all officers to organise their work using one of three models: the NADA i-Cegah Model, the NADA i-Pulih Model, or the NADA i-Prihatin Model.

Furthermore, Dato’ Dr. Muhamad Sade had a chance to interact with the locals while officially unveiling the NADA Hotline service sign on the federal route (Kuala Lumpur-Gua Musang).

Chairman of the NADA Board of Visitors Council, Lt Col (K) Datuk Abdullah Abu Bakar and Director of NADA Pahang, Zirwatul Ahlam Zamzam were also present to make the event a success.

This includes Head of the Narcotics Crime Investigation Division of the Raub District Police Headquarters, ASP Arshad Ayob; Assistant Director of NADA Enforcement and Security Division, ASP Faizol Effendy Hassan and Assistant Commanding Officer of Battalion 3 of the 505th Regiment, Major Mohd Khairul Akmal Yusof.
