Integrity Unit

Introduction

The Integrity Unit of NADA was established on 13 January 2014, pursuant to the Services Circular Order Number 6 of 2013 (Establishment of Integrity Units at All Public Agencies). Its establishment is a strategic cooperative approach whereby officers of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission collaborate with officers of the agency in managing integrity in a more focused and planned manner which is appropriate and meets the needs of the agency

Functions

  • GOVERNANCE
    To ensure that the best governance is implemented;
  • CONSOLIDATION OF INTEGRITY
    To ensure the adoption, institutionalisation and implementation of integrity in the organisation;
  • DETECTION AND VERIFICATION
    To detect and verify complaints of criminal misconduct as well as violation of the organisationโ€™s code of ethics and conduct, as well as ensure that the appropriate follow-up action is taken; report criminal offence to the enforcement agency responsible;
  • COMPLAINT MANAGEMENT
    To receive and act on all complaints/information on criminal misconduct as well as violation of the organisationโ€™s code of ethics and conduct;
  • COMPLIANCE
    To ensure compliance with the laws and regulations in force; and
  • DISCIPLINE
    To carry out the secretariat functions of the Disciplinary Board
