Association of Officers National Anti-drugs Agency (PPAD)
INTRODUCTION
National Anti-Drugs Agency Officers Association (Penubuhan Persatuan Pegawai Antidadah Agensi Antidadah Kebangsaan, PPAD) is an organization registered with the Registrar of Societies of Malaysia on November 06, 2008, registration number: 1908-08-WKL. The main purpose of setting up the PPAD is to strengthen the unity among registered members, to safeguard the welfare of members and to champion the progress of the career of members / Agency Officers. Members of the Association are comprised of officers in charge of the AADK State, District AADK and Recovery Institutions (Cure & Care Clinic, Cure & Care Rehabilitation Center, Cure & Care Vocational Center).
The first PPAD public meeting was chaired by National Director of the National Anti- National Agency, Dato ‘Hj Sabran Bin Napiah on 1 June 2007 at Puteri Resort, Ayer Keroh, Melaka and attended by 65 officers from all over the country. The second PPAD public meeting was held on June 21, 2009 at the Swiss-Inn Hotel, Sg. Farmers, Kedah. It was chaired by Dato ‘Bakir Bin Zin, the Director General of the National Anti- National Agency at that time and was attended by 250 Officers of the Agency.
OBJECTIVES
- Support and persist the vision and mission of NADA towards developing and improving the competence and professionalism of the members in line with the Agency’s goals.
- Safeguard the interests and the welfare of members under the guild.
- Organize and participate in appropriate activities to enhance knowledge, skills, careers, discipline, morals, spirituality, sports, recreation, social and economic activities.
- Unite members in a Registered Organization, foster family spirit and strengthen relationships among National Anti-Duty Agency staff and staff.
